how it turns out

during life you'll be faced with millions of decisions. you may make the wrong one or the right one but whichever one you choose it will lead you down very different paths. sometimes the wrong decision may end up leading down the better path, but the opposite applies as well. what im getting at is no matter what choices you make in life you can never look back and wonder what could've been because it will haunt you for the rest of your life. every decision you make in your lif will teach you a different lesson and you'll learn from it and you move on. the choices you make in life determine your life. you can decide to dwell on the past and what you should've done and it will slowly eat you alive or you can decide that there's nothing you can do to change the past and trust that your smart enough that you did make the right decision. how your life turns out is in your hands.

This is ironic... given your Mom's blog, because you did a perfect analysis of what Robert Frost was trying to say in "The Road Not Taken" - it WASN'T that the road less traveled is always the best road, but in fact, that each path will lead you in a new direction and that direction may not be what you expected.

Great post!

This was wonderfully written. It does not serve anyone well if we continually return to previous points of our life to consider options not taken. Life could be better or it could be less to our liking... Fruitless as we can't change anything.

Wonderfully written post!

At each life decision point I always hit 'save' and that way I can always stick the disk back into the Play Station and replay my life from that part forward. I even have a few cheats...

Here from Teri's.
I agree, I have some regrets about not doing certain things in my life but I can say I'm pretty happy with the ones I made.

I think you're so right: every decision matters. It's important to stay awake. Stay alive.

Like others here, I came via your mom. I'll be back to read more.

Hey Brady! The meaning of life & direction is very complicated. It helps not to think about it too much and trust to luck.

All you can do is make the best most informed decision you can, then be confident you did the right thing.

I like to think that you can never make the wrong decision. Whatever decision you've made is the right one because at the time it was what you truly wanted.

When I think back on everything that's happened in my life, and every decision I've made it's very rare that I have a regret. I think that if they weren't the right decisions I'd have a lot more.
It all seems to work out in the end (although I wouldn't really know, I think I'm hardly near the end lol)

Great blog! I found you through your mom lol
